The Park includes scenic overlooks of the Tar River, three picnic shelters, a gazebo, fishing piers, and a boat ramp.

They play their home games at Five County Stadium and draw crowds from Nash, Wake, Franklin, Wilson and Johnston counties. It’s a beautiful baseball park and includes “Cattails,” a fine dining restaurant, luxury suites, picnic areas for family gatherings, a 60-foot tall scoreboard and a 300 square foot video board. The much-loved fountain sitting at the middle of City Lake sets a beautiful stage for joggers and walkers on the half-mile concrete path surrounding the lake. Roosevelt’s administration and was completed in 1937. The lake has undergone many facelifts over the years with a complete beautification project concluded in 1993.
